Happy Birthday Hiccup

We celebrated Hiccup's birthday almost a month ago. Where the heck did the time go?!
He has been in love with Curious George for quite some time so we found it fitting to incorporate into his party. We got together for dinner and treats with family and some good family friends.
I of course had big ideas for things but I tried to keep it as low key and stress free as possible.
treat table with fruit kabobs, cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, cupcakes, popcorn in boxes
some table decorations - I borrowed books from the library

we had everyone sign a birthday book for Hiccup

a friend from work made the cake and cuppies, Casey made the George decorations

candle from Target, cake topper made by me

he loves to mimic the open mouth funny face
he only liked his party hat for about two minutes

he loved his lego wagon

he loved opening presents but got upset each time we put one toy away to open another one

he was a bit timid with his cake at first, only leaning in to take small bites

but soon he had no trouble making a giant mess with it

We had a great time celebrating with our curious little boy. We sure love him and are so grateful for the family and friends in his life that love him so much.
