He has been in love with Curious George for quite some time so we found it fitting to incorporate into his party. We got together for dinner and treats with family and some good family friends.
I of course had big ideas for things but I tried to keep it as low key and stress free as possible.
treat table with fruit kabobs, cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, cupcakes, popcorn in boxes |
some table decorations - I borrowed books from the library |
we had everyone sign a birthday book for Hiccup |
a friend from work made the cake and cuppies, Casey made the George decorations |
candle from Target, cake topper made by me |
he loves to mimic the open mouth funny face |
he only liked his party hat for about two minutes |
he loved his lego wagon |
he loved opening presents but got upset each time we put one toy away to open another one |
he was a bit timid with his cake at first, only leaning in to take small bites |
but soon he had no trouble making a giant mess with it |
We had a great time celebrating with our curious little boy. We sure love him and are so grateful for the family and friends in his life that love him so much.
How on earth did I miss this post?!?! Adorable!! Oh my goodness, how I could just eat that sweet, curious boy up!
