101 in 1001 MAKING THE BUCKET LIST POSSIBLE

I'm participating in Day Zero, the 1001 Project

The Challenge:  Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days (roughly 2.75 years)

The Criteria:  Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days?:  Many people have created lists in the past – frequently simple goals such as New Year’s Resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks.

Starting: April 1, 2013 Ending: December 28, 2015

I found her blog from Pinterest and have been reading it ever since. That's where I got this idea and fell in love with it. I've always tried to keep a bucket list / dream list / things I've always wanted to do list. Some things are huge and truly may be a dream, some are little and may seem insignificant to most people. Some things I've left off (swimming with dolphins, traveling to Europe) mostly because I knew they most likely wouldn't happen within the designated time frame.

My goal is to blog about each experience as I accomplish them. That way I'm enjoying and sharing my progress. Wish me luck!
